Admission Information

Monash Children’s Centre has a relationship with Monash University and as such offers priority of access to current Staff and Students of the University, which sees little community membership within the centre.

Families who are interested in enrolling at Monash Children's Centre are required to submit an online waiting list form which can be accessed through the Waiting List Application Tab.  There are no fees associated with being on the waiting list.  The waiting list is sorted chronologically, following priority access guidelines.  The online waiting list is a centralised waiting list which services 3 of Monash University's sponsored centres.  The Childcare at Monash centralised waiting list administers both the wait list and ongoing bookings for Monash Children's Centre, Monash Community Family Co-operative and Monash Caulfield Child Care.  The information stored in this database can be viewed and accessed by each of these service.  

Families will be contacted quartly through our online waiting list service, EnrolNow to update their requirements.  Furthermore, we encourage families who are on our waiting list to update their contact information whenever changes occur to avoid missing out on places due to not being contactable.

Families wishing to view the service are welcome to ring the centre to make an appointment.  Appointments for families on the waiting list are held between March and August between the hours of 9:30am – 11:00am or 2:30pm – 4:30pm.  Each appointment can take up to 30 minutes and may be grouped with families of children in the same age group. 

Confirmation of places is offered in writing and a Parent Welcome Pack is provided.  In order to secure your place all information and relevant payments must be submitted prior to commencement.
