Orientation Information

Once offered a place all families are strongly encouraged to phone and arrange a time to bring their child into the centre at least once, for an orientation.  This visit is a prime opportunity to meet the teachers working with your child and to gain an understanding of how routines and the service operate.  During this time teachers will be active in collating important background information about your child.

This process is flexible and can be tailored to the needs of each individual child and family.  We provide a discounted fee if no more than 4 hours of care is used (see current Fee Schedule for amount) for orientation in the two weeks leading up to the confirmed start date.  Orientation is best conducted on your child’s booked days, however this is flexible, and should be arranged with the teachers in your child’s room prior to arrival.
