Our Centre & Rooms

Our pedagogy identifies that children learn from birth and that their learning and development at each stage of life forms the foundations for the next stage.  During the period from birth to eight years, children experience rapid brain development and acquire more skills and knowledge than in any other period in their lives.  By the time children enter school, they have already developed key communication, the ability to build and maintain relationships, learning and thinking skills and formed a strong sense of their own identity.  These skills and knowledge are not only foundations for school but also considered life skills.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.  In recognition of our connection to Indigenous heritage we have chosen to name our rooms using words from the Aboriginal language.
